We #AVAT act globally and are committed regionally. That's why every year we support charitable organizations that give children a new perspective and accompany people in the major crises of their lives.
For example, for almost 10 years we have always launched a major fundraising campaign at Christmas: Instead of giving Christmas presents to our business partners, we give the money to those people who urgently need help. Our customers and partners decide who receives a donation. Now the result is clear.
These 3 charities have now been presented with a donation by Frank Ganssloser, #AVAT founder and CEO, on behalf of the entire AVAT staff and as part of a virtual event:
- 2,222 Euros will go to "Women Help Women" (Frauen helfen Frauen e.V.), who work in Tübingen to protect women and children from domestic violence. Learn more about the commitment here (only available in German)
- The same amount will also go to the Tübingen-based association “Great Guys” (Pfunzkerle e.V.), which helps boys and men affected by sexualized violence. Learn more about the commitment here
- Another 2,222 Euros will go to the "Learners Group", which is part of the Child Protection Agency Tübingen (Kinderschutzbund Tübingen e.V.). Here, students of the University provide qualified tutoring and school support to children and young people from difficult backgrounds. Learn more about the commitment here (only available in German)
With this campaign, we also want to draw attention to all those who work with great energy for our society every day: Your commitment is indispensable! A big thank you from the whole #AVAT team!
