The development work of engine manufacturers and their suppliers is determined by strict emission regulations and an increasing public interest in environmentally friendly propulsion concepts. With the introduction of IMO TIER III, emission limits for diesel engines on ships must be drastically reduced. At the same time, essential regulations in the fuel sector must be observed. To meet these challenges, new technological concepts and control strategies are required.
This year, the Rostock Large Engine Symposium will again be dedicated to the exchange of current research and development results for compliance with future emission limits as well as the discussion of already existing and future framework conditions.
On September 15 & 16, 2022 at the Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne in Rostock, Germany.
We will also participate in the exhibition again and present intelligent solutions for emission-reduced engine operation.
